"NMT (Nano Molding Technology)" is a technology for integrated molding of metal and resin through injection molding. By applying surface treatment to the metal, nano-level dimples are formed on the metal surface. These fine dimples are filled with hard resin through injection molding, integrating the metal and resin. Additionally, since processes such as surface treatment are not required, like in magnesium alloy molding technology, it contributes to cost reduction and shorter processes. We would like to introduce our technology for integrally molding vacuum-formed products and other materials with expanded polystyrene. The moment the molded product arrives, the parts are already assembled, directly contributing to labor-saving on the line and reducing production lead times. By using insert parts as the core, we can add functions such as "screw fixation" and "high rigidity bearings," which are difficult to achieve with expanded polystyrene alone. The ability to mold and fix dissimilar materials (vacuum-formed products and injection-molded products) simultaneously with expanded polystyrene is our greatest strength, as it completely eliminates the need for the assembly processes that were traditionally required.
